Paiload is a partnership of engineers who have spent most of
their careers pioneering data-to-product pipelines for scientific
space missions — building payloads, processing data, and
delivering operational products. Between them, Dallas and Linus
have shipped operational products for NASA, NOAA, EUMETSAT, and
ESA, across more than 60 satellites currently in operation.
Dallas Masters
Previously VP, Signals of Opportunity at Muon Space and
Director of Earth Observations / GNSS at Spire Global, where he
led the commercial GNSS radio occultation (GNSS-RO) and
reflectometry (GNSS-R) programs from first payloads through
commercial operational product deliveries to NASA, NOAA,
EUMETSAT, and ESA. PhD in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from
the University of Colorado Boulder.
Linus Tan
Seven years at Spire Global as Lead Payload Software Engineer,
leading a team to build and operate the on-orbit payload
software underlying scientific GNSS missions for NASA, NOAA,
and EUMETSAT — the code that turns raw RF samples into the
agencies' data products. Most recently contracted with Muon
Space, where he developed the software and algorithms for
their GNSS-R receiver.
